Post care instructions
brow lamination
Maisonglo Brow Lamination Post-Care
Your brows just got the royal treatment—now don’t ruin the magic.
First 48 Hours: Handle With Glamour
• Keep those arches dry – Water, steam, sweat? A non from us. Pretend you’re in a skincare commercial and avoid splash zones.
• Hands off, darling. Resist the urge to touch, rub, or squish your brows into your pillow. They need their beauty rest too.
• Skip the makeup & skincare on your brows. No lotions, potions, or brow pencils. Let them shine solo.
• Sleep like a statue. Side sleepers, we’re looking at you—try to stay on your back. Your brows will thank you.
After 48 Hours: Browtiful Maintenance
• Hydrate the fluff. Use a nourishing oil {good ol’ castor oil) to keep those hairs healthy and lush.
• Brush ‘em daily. A quick flick with a spoolie = instant polish. You woke up like this (but better).
• Skip the harsh stuff. No acids, retinoids, or exfoliants near those precious arches for a week.
• Sun? Be shady. UV rays can mess with your brows’ vibe—hat it up or SPF that forehead.
Maisonglo Pro Tip:
Your lamination will last around 6–8 weeks, depending on your specific hair type.
lash lift
Maisonglo Lash Lift Post-Care
Your lashes just got the glow-up of their lives—now don’t let gravity win.
First 24 Hours: The Golden Rule? Hands (and water) Off.
• Keep ‘em dry. No water, no steam, no tears (even if you’re moved by your own beauty).
• No mascara, no makeup. Let those lifted lashes breathe and lock in their curl.
• Don’t rub or play. We know they look amazing, but touching = trouble.
• Avoid heat & steam. That includes hot showers, saunas, and steamy flings.
After 24 Hours: Lifted & Living
• Use a lash serum or oil. Nourish those lashes with something gentle (Maisonglo-approved, of course).
• Skip waterproof mascara. It’s clingy, and not in a cute way—it weakens the lift.
• Brush daily. A clean spoolie and a little love = flutter perfection.
• Be gentle when cleansing. No tugging, rubbing, or aggressive face-washing.
Maisonglo Pro Tip:
Your lift will last around 6–8 weeks with proper care. When they start to drop (emotionally or literally), we’ll be here for your next lift.
Dermaplaning
After dermaplaning, your skin is especially receptive—treat it with the care it deserves.
Immediately After Your Treatment
1. Hands Off, Darling: Avoid touching your face unnecessarily. Your skin is freshly exfoliated and more vulnerable to bacteria.
2. No Makeup for 24 Hours: Let your skin breathe. Makeup can clog freshly exfoliated pores and hinder recovery.
3. Skip Heat & Sweat: Avoid saunas, hot yoga, intense workouts, and hot showers for at least 24–48 hours.
Your Glo Ritual – At Home
1. Hydration Is Key:
• Use a gentle, hydrating moisturizer (like our Skin Dew Moisturizer) morning and night.
• Hyaluronic acid serums are perfect right now—layer them under your moisturizer.
2. Cleanse Kindly:
• For 24–48 hours, use a mild, non-active cleanser (no acids, no exfoliants).
• We recommend Maisonglo Easy Does It Foaming Cleanser
3. No Active Ingredients for 3–5 Days:
• Avoid retinol, vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid form), glycolic/salicylic acids, or exfoliating masks.
• Resume active treatments gradually after 5–7 days based on your skin’s response.
4. Sun Protection Is Non-Negotiable:
• Apply SPF 30 or higher every morning—even if you’re indoors. Your skin is more photosensitive post-treatment.
What to Expect
• Mild Redness or Sensitivity: Completely normal and should resolve within a few hours.
• Flaky Skin: Some experience light peeling—keep hydrating and resist the urge to exfoliate.
• Instant Glow: You’ll notice smoother texture and a luminous finish. Maintain it with consistent care
Your dermaplaning treatment is a reset for your skin—treat it like a fresh canvas. Follow these steps to protect and prolong your glow. If you experience prolonged redness, breakouts, or irritation, contact your Maisonglo specialist for guidance.
